What to Expect... (Updated: 18 Dec 2006)
Parents,
As you arrive at the Children's Area, you will find yourself wanting to linger because the excitement for the day's activities will be undeniable; but first, you will need to check your child in using a system to ensure your child's safety.
Your child will begin with a large-group session (known as the orchard) for worship and presentation of the Bible story and Bible truth through music, media, and drama. This session will be followed by a snack time and brief game time.
Children will then break into small groups (called bunches) for time to discuss the Bible truth in a more personal atmosphere.
Next, children will enjoy hands-on activities related to the time in the orchard through activity stations.
Finally, children will come together for large-group worship, prayer, and the weekly challenge.This weekly challenge will help you, as parents, guide your kids in putting the Bible truth into practice. Look for this Challenge paper when you pick up your child.
You may find that when you return to pick up your child, your child won't want to leave. Just remind them that Sunday will come again next week!
